This is a game about gathering herbs, making unique potions for fun and profit, getting into weird and spicy situations. The game features colorful anime style graphics, pleasant soft soundtrack and fruity plot scenes. ![]() Along with Slavya you will need to recreate magical potions recipes. I think I remember correctly, and what I remember has implications I'll discuss in the Miku's ending part, but I'm not sure, and I could be completely wrong."The Herbalist" is a calm and meditative logic puzzle game from the creators of "Everlasting Summer". She was my favorite last time around (had a massive thing for tsunderes back in the day).Īlso, if anyone wants to remind me about some of the deep plot elements of Yulia's ending, that'd be great. I feel like this isn't as well written as I'd like. Slavya's relentless kindness manages to break through his hard shell of self-isolation, and he becomes a happier person as a result. But he isn't completely antisocial, just fearful and anxious. He often goes off on his own when he ought to be helping the group. He is clearly a socially disabled individual, with that disability amplified by years of isolation. In short, it appears Slavya actually was right when she defended Seymon to Olga Demitrivena: Seymon really is doing the best he can. When sent off to get the cards, he has to allow Slavya to accompany him (failure to do so pushes him toward Miku's route, the implications of which I look forward to discussing once I've done her route). At the gates, he has to actually respond to her rather than give into his mental chaos and extreme social anxiety. He also has to be trying to be something other than a complete misanthrope. The conclusion I was starting to reach was that Slavya is looking for a rescue animal the more of an irresponsible loser Seymon is, the the more Slavya seems to like him.īut going over the complete walkthrough, I noticed something else. ![]() When Shurik goes missing, fucking off to his cabin instead of helping is somehow the way to get with Slavya. When he and Ulyana make a mess in the Canteen, he doesn't stick around to help clean up. There are several places where, in order to score points with Slavya, he basically has to nope out of doing something he really ought to be doing. One thing I noticed about Seymon's behavior in Slavya's route is. (I didn't have to hint guide much, but there were a few places I checked to make sure I got the ending I was going for.) But after a year of thinking about it and playing other VNs, I decided this time, my first ending would be Slavya's good end. Last year my first ending was an Alisa ending (bad end, since I started out pursuing Lena but jumped tracks when I decided to hang out with Alisa during the dance). I played through ES probably a year ago, and I'm finally at the point where I can read through it again.
